airtel Bangladesh is planning to launch free Twitter for its internet subscribers. This will cover using the Twitter application free of data charges.
Offer: no data charge to browse www.twitter.com or mobile.twitter.com
- Where the offer is applicable
- To obtain the offer subscribers don’t need to do any activity, simply if they use the twitter app, or browse www.twitter.com or mobile.twitter.com and no charge will be applied.
- Downloading twitter app will be chargeable.
- Posting tweets, sharing videos & pictures using twitter will be free.
- If the subscriber is already a data pack user, no data consumption will happen from the data pack on using twitter.
- If the subscriber is a PAYG user and if he/she uses twitter, there will be no charge.
- Free twitter comes with a daily 20MB daily cap. Beyond 20MB further usage is blocked. The cap is reset every day. This is to prevent abuse.
- Where the offer is not applicable
- If subscriber tries to connect any other link/site other twitter the charge free offer will not be applicable. i.e: going to any external links which are shared via twitter.
- if subscribers tries uses internet for any other external links or apps other than twitter, the subscribers will be charge from his other volume based pack if available
- if subscribers don’t have any other volume based pack then for such sites or apps other than twitter, he/she will be charged as pay as you go from main account.
