1.STAR Status Check
Once STAR customers install the applications in their mobile phone, the
application will check the customer’s STAR status. To check the status,
customers will be required to input their mobile number and press send
to receive the status.
2. GPC Service Appointment (for Platinum STAR Customers only):
Through this function, GP Platinum STAR Customers will be able to
avail service appointments from their nearest Grameenphone Center. Upon
arrival, valued customers will be quickly served directly without having
to wait in the queue.
3. Online Recharge:
GP STAR Customers will be able to recharge their number with this
function. Valued STAR customers will have the option to recharge their
mobile account through debit or credit card.
4. Location based service:
Location based service will allow STAR customers to get location
information of ATM Booths/Banks, Nearby restaurants, Police Stations
based on their current GPS standing by using Google map.
5. STAR event registration & push notifications:
Through this function STAR customers will be able to register for STAR
events and receive e-notifications about activities/events/promotions
that GP sends out through SMS.
6. QR Scanner:
Through QR scanner STAR customers will be able to scan QR/Bar codes and
avail various offers/discounts/promotions offered by Grameenphone.
